Zonderlands werk wordt nog altijd opgenomen in bloemlezingen en poëziekalenders, en ook op internet is heel wat van hem te vinden. In Er zwom een garnaal door het Kattegat zijn alle gedichten van Daan Zonderland opgenomen, bezorgd door Dick Welsink. Het is een verzameling die de oudere lezer met weemoed en een lach aan zijn jeugd zal doen terugdenken, maar die een jongere generatie onmiddellijk zal aanspreken door haar frisheid, originaliteit en beknoptheid. Een juweel van de Nederlandse dichtkunst.

Daan Zonderland is het pseudoniem van Daniel Gerhard van der Vat (1909–1977). Hij was leraar Engels en later correspondent van het toenmalige dagblad De Tijd in Londen, maar hij werd beroemd met zijn kinderboeken en zijn kolderrijmen en nonsensgedichten.

Dick Welsink was werkzaam bij het Literatuurmuseum in Den Haag. Hij bezorgde onder meer poëzie-uitgaven van Jan Boerstoel en Kees Stip.

The only big issue is the 3XL sweater I got is way off size wise. Oversized sweaters are great, so I was excited about getting this for me to use for day to day wear, and my wife (who is a lot smaller than me) to steal when she's watching tv on the couch or sitting outside, so the disappointment was palatable. Sadly the 3XL size is about the same size as XL sweaters in the closet, where as a few 2xl sweaters we recently ordered from another company are a lot larger than this one. Outside of the major size discrepancy, which could be a major deal breaker for some, the sweater itself is really comfy and really nice. Sadly 3XL is the largest size we could get on the chart.
