Het oogstjaar 2020 was een spectaculair jaar voor de warme Four Mile Creek-appellatie in Niagara-on-the-Lake, en deze Riesling "Wild Ferment" van het wijnhuis stelt daarin zeker niet teleur.

Deze bijzondere Riesling is gemaakt om te rijpen. Het wijnhuis laat deze wijn minimaal een jaar op fles rijpen voordat hij wordt vrijgegeven, zodat hij zijn volledige potentieel kan ontwikkelen. Gefermenteerd met 100% inheemse gisten van de eigen wijngaard, biedt deze wijn een bouquet van oranjebloesem, kamperfoelie, groene appel, grapefruit en een vleugje witte bloemen zoals jasmijn en lila. Het complexe gehemelte onthult een geweldige textuur en romige nuances met smaken van mandarijn, sinaasappelgelei, groene appel en een verfrissende hint van ananas. De kruidige afdronk met tonen van witte peper, citroengras en kardemom voegt een extra laag complexiteit toe die de smaakervaring verlengt.

This Bible is a great option for someone with good eyesight, as the print is on the smaller side. I personally prefer larger print, but the smaller text does make it more compact and convenient to carry. This Bible is absolutely beautiful and feels very high quality. The natural brown leather has a classic, timeless look, and the flap with the strap closure is a really nice touch that makes it feel both elegant and practical. It keeps everything protected and gives it a unique design compared to standard Bibles. The journaling layout is one of my favorite parts. The margins are wide enough for notes, reflections, prayers, and study thoughts without making the pages feel too crowded.
