Bocatheva Venezuela 15y is een rum op basis van melasse die volledig rijpte in het Venezolaans klimaat. Dit gebeurde in vaten van Amerikaanse witte eik die voorheen bourbon bevatte. De rietsuikersoorten die gebruikt werden om de melasse te vervaardigen zijn Romana en Cubana. De oogst, die plaatsvindt tussen december en mei, gebeurd dag en nacht waarbij de concentratie aan sappen hoger ligt ’s ochtends. Er is ongeveer 2.24 kg melasse nodig om 1 liter van deze heerlijke Bocatheva Venezuela 15y te vervaardigen. De fermentatie duurt tussen de 12 en 16 uur en de distillatie vindt plaats in 4 kolommen om vervolgens tegen de 65% ABV op vat te verdwijnen.

Over Bocatheva Rum ;
Bocatheva Rum is voortgekomen uit het verlangen om eigen rums te bottelen bij BBC Spirits, opgericht in 2010 na een ontmoeting tussen de stichters, Bogdan en Bertrand. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
