De Montbretia onderhouden

Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ is super eenvoudig om te onderhouden, je knipt hem een keer per jaar, in maart, maar af te knippen tot op de grond. Zo hou je de plant in model en zorg je dat hij het nieuwe seizoen weer volop gaat bloeien.

Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’: wanneer planten?

Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ is potgekweekt, dus deze kan het hele jaar door geplant worden zolang er geen vorst in de grond zit. Het beste moment is echter het voor- of najaar. De plant krijgt graag een plekje in de halfschaduw in goed waterdoorlatende grond. Je kunt eventueel de grond verrijken met wat compost tijdens het aanplanten.

Bij Garmundo verkocht per 20 stuks in potjes van 9 centimeter, goed voor ongeveer 3 m2 aan planten.
