Achtergrondinformatie: Het waren de pausen, die geïnstalleerd waren in Avignon in de veertiende eeuw en de “ terroir “ van Châteauneuf-du-Pape ontdekten. Onder het bewind van Johannes XXII, wordt het dorp de zomerresidentie van de paus. Vanwege de kostbare ‘nectar’ geproduceerd in dit gebied, verleende hij de rang van "Vin du Pape", die daarna de deuren van de grote Europese hoven openden. De familie Sabon en Cha?teauneuf du Pape gaan ver terug. ze wonen hier al vanaf 1540. een ondernemende en ambitieuze familie. zoals ze zelf zeggen: “het is ons doel om te streven naar perfectie, we proberen het beste te maken van wat de natuur ons geeft.” elegantie is belangrijker dan kracht. of beter gezegd: elegantie is de kracht daardoor zijn hun wijnen zo anders dan de traditionele en zware Cha?teauneuf wijnen.

I often get achey feet too; but it didn’t happen with these. Whether I was strolling the deck, dancing in the club, or standing waiting in long buffet lines, these shoes had me feeling fancy free and footloose.
