Ontroerend en subversief, dat is het middeleeuwse liefdesverhaal van Tristan en Isoude, respectievelijk de neef en de echtgenote van koning Mark van Cornwall. Na het drinken van een liefdesdrank overschrijden de overspelige minnaars alle sociale, morele en christelijke wetten. De ridder en de koningin verdedigen met list en bedrog hun persoonlijk geluk tegen hun vijanden aan het hof. In het begin van de veertiende eeuw schreef een anonieme Florentijn La Tavola Ritonda. Hoofdpersoon Tristan is ridder, dichter, musicus en trickster. Hij vermomt zich als pelgrim, gek, priester, vrouw en monnik, wordt waanzinnig van jaloezie en leeft als wildeman in het woud. Maar de dappere en slimme held is ook de beste ridder van de Ronde Tafel. Na een tragische ontknoping, veroorzaakt door koning Mark, volgt een unieke wraakexpeditie van koning Artur en diens dolende ridders, die in zwarte wapenrusting afreizen om de moordenaar te straffen. Na Tristans dood gaan de ridders niet meer op avontuur. De Ronde Tafel gaat ten gronde aan hebzucht, wellust en trots.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re on a lookout for a sleek but compact organizer holder, and I personally will consider getting another one in the future for myself for other household belongings.
