Voor comfort en prestaties is de Marana voorzien van een gewatteerde tong en kraag met een Pro Foam 1-binnenzool. Dankzij Michelin rust dit alles op een cupsole van duurzaam Michelin-rubber.

De Marana werd oorspronkelijk ontworpen en ontwikkeld om te voldoen aan de hoge impactbestendigheidseisen van Ryan Sheckler's skates en groeide meteen uit tot een klassieker die door skateboarders over de hele wereld wordt gekozen.
