Het is vaak onvoldoende om een aanhangwagen tegen diefstal te beschermen door de aanhanger alleen met een kettingslot vast te leggen. Het gebruik van het Carpoint disselslot biedt een betere bescherming tegen diefstal van een aanhangwagen, trailer of caravan.


Het Carpoint kokermodel disselslot is snel te monteren en sluit het volledige koppelingssysteem van de aanhanger af. Hierdoor kan de aanhangwagen, trailer of caravan niet aangekoppeld worden, het is nog wel mogelijk om de aanhanger te verplaatsen. Dit disselslot is niet te gebruiken als de aanhanger aan de auto gekoppeld is, gebruik hiervoor een deelbaar disselslot. Het Carpoint koppelingsslot is gegalvaniseerd en heeft hierdoor een roestwerende werking. Het koppelingsslot past op nagenoeg alle standaard koppelingssystemen. De afmeting van het disselslot is 23x11x11cm en wordt geleverd exclusief discusslot.
