De nieuw tandprofielgecombineerd met een nieuwe oppervlaktebehandeling Zwart Chroomoppervlaktebehandeling, verbetert de duurzaamheid, vermindert slijtage en zorgt voor een stillere werking. De lineair verloop van snelheden helpt bij het handhaven van een optimale cadans, of het nu gaat om klimmen of vlakke wegen, waardoor vermoeidheid wordt verminderd en prestaties worden verbeterd.

Er zijn vier cassetteconfiguraties beschikbaar, met een begin bij 10 of 11 tandenvoor alle rijstijlen en terreintypen. Met minder sprongen tussen elk tandwiel behoudt de rijder een constantere en meer gecontroleerde cadans.

Een extra tandwiel is meer dan alleen een getal: het is een geoptimaliseerde rijervaringeen efficiëntere transmissie en inspanningsmanagementom te voldoen aan de meest veeleisende eisen van de moderne weg.
