Deze Polo Ralph Lauren T-shirt is gemaakt van 100% katoenen jersey die een speciale wasbehandeling heeft ondergaan, waardoor de stof direct het zachte, ingedragen gevoel van een vintage favoriet heeft in plaats van de stijfheid van een nieuw shirt. De kleur is een rustig blauw met een licht aged effect, een doffe, doorleefde tint die het shirt ouder en persoonlijker laat ogen dan een standaard egale druk. Op de borst zit het kenmerkende chain-stitch borduursel met de tekst Polo Ralph Lauren, een kettingsteek die je met je vingers kunt voelen. Daarnaast draagt het shirt een opgestikte patch en aan de zoom de geborduurde pony, het herkenningsteken van het merk. De ronde crewneck-hals en korte mouwen houden het silhouet eenvoudig en veelzijdig. Geproduceerd in Bangladesh uit zuiver katoen ademt deze Polo Ralph Lauren T-shirt goed en blijft hij ook bij warm weer comfortabel. De Classic Fit van Polo Ralph Lauren valt ruimer dan een moderne slim tee: het shirt is voller gesneden door borst, taille en mouw en heeft een lager armsgat dat tot dichter bij de elleboog valt. Wie een strak shirt zoekt kan daarom overwegen een maat kleiner te bestellen, terwijl de classic fit op je eigen maat juist die ontspannen, casual val geeft. Het zuivere katoen heeft nauwelijks rek, dus de pasvorm blijft constant tijdens het dragen. Houd er rekening mee dat 100% katoen bij een warme was licht kan krimpen, dus was koel en droog op lage temperatuur om de maat te behouden.

Gedragen onder een open linnen overshirt met een lichte jeans en witte sneakers wordt dit shirt de relaxte basis van een zomerse look, terwijl het solo met een chino net zo goed werkt. De doorleefde wassing maakt dat het shirt er vanaf dag één uitziet alsof je het al jaren draagt.

I don't know if I'd call the scent of this "bacon," more like rubber with a hint of bacon. It's very strong. I gave my dog one of the balls & put one in a cabinet where I keep his treats & a few other unrelated odds & ends. I now hold my breath when I open that cabinet b/c good lord, the smell. I'm tempted to just give that one to the dog too, just because it'll air out eventually & then everything else in that cabinet won't smell bad. My dog feels so-so about it. He'll briefly chase after it & chew on it, but loses interest in it pretty fast. My rather hyperactive cat also plays with it from time to time, as he seems to have more interest in most dog toys than the dog these days, so there's that. (Then again, he thinks a wide variety of random items around the house are loads of fun to toss about, so it's possible his opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt. Between the brief periods of one of these balls being chewed on & clawed at, it's stayed completely intact. I think if you have a dog who simply likes to play fetch or chew on rubber balls in general, this one would stand up to the task. But if you're expecting it to be greeted with the enthusiasm as a bacon grease covered ball might be - I'd adjust your expectations.
