De GSI Outdoors Glacier Remote Stove is ontwikkeld voor buitensporters die meer stabiliteit en kookcomfort willen dan bij een standaard schroefbrander. Doordat de gasfles via een flexibele slang is aangesloten, staat de brander laag bij de grond. Dit verlaagt het zwaartepunt aanzienlijk en zorgt voor extra veiligheid tijdens het koken, vooral wanneer je gebruikmaakt van grotere pannen of kookt op een minder vlakke ondergrond.

Met een vermogen van ongeveer 3.200 watt levert de Glacier Remote Stove ruim voldoende kracht om snel water te koken of complete maaltijden te bereiden. De brede branderkop verdeelt de warmte gelijkmatig onder de pan, wat het risico op aanbranden vermindert en het kookresultaat verbetert.
