Douwe Bob Posthuma brak in 2012 door als winnaar van De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland. Na het Eurovision Song Contest met ‘Slow Down’ groeide hij uit tot één van de meest herkenbare stemmen van Nederland. In 2023 was hij te zien in Beste Zangers en The Masked Singer, in 2024 was hij de meest gedraaide Nederlandse artiest op de radio. In 2025 scoorde hij zijn zesde Top 40-hit in twee jaar tijd. Na een uitverkochte clubtour en alle grote festivals, volgde een uitverkochte theatertour en AFAS Live show. Eind 2025: ‘The Story Of Country’ in Het Concertgebouw. Great colors and sounds for your little one!
Format: Hardcover
This is a sweet little book. Spoiler Alert: the Hungry Little Caterpillar makes a cameo! My granddaughter is 18 mos and is able finally able to push the buttons hard enough to play. There are lots of different forest and farm animal sounds, even special music and sounds for the bugs and butterflies. The animal sounds are clear and accurate for the most part, and our favorite is to make the sounds with her. She loves books, and this keeps her attention mostly because of the bright colors. The book is still a little large for her to carry very far on her own, but she manages to turn the pages on her own without a problem. Great for a grandma's library of reading books for the grandkids.

Kept Her Attention Immediately

I bought this for my niece’s little daughter, and she absolutely loved it.
She played with it, looked through it over and over, and was completely engaged with it, which honestly says everything. Keeping a little child’s attention is not always easy, so I was very impressed with how much she enjoyed it.
The quality is excellent too — very vibrant, colorful, durable, and beautifully made. It feels sturdy enough to hold up well with little hands while still being attractive and fun to look at.
Overall, a wonderful purchase and a really great gift for a child.
