Maar niet alle roedels gaan vreedzaam met elkaar om. Ze willen allemaal de macht over het gebied en daar hebben ze alles voor over. Wolven is een strategisch spel, waarin je een eigen roedel wolven leidt. Je probeert gebieden te claimen, je roedel uit te breiden, de eigenschappen van je roedel te ontwikkelen, holen te bouwen en op prooi te jagen. Al die dingen leveren op verschillende manieren voordelen en overwinningspunten op. Je beurten worden gestuurd door dubbelzijdige terreintegels. Elke beurt draai je er afhankelijk van de gekozen actie een aantal om. Je mag dan een actie op een veld van dat terrein uitvoeren, mits het binnen bereik van je wolven ligt. Zo kun je je wolven verplaatsen, schuilplaatsen bouwen, waardoor je de eigenschappen van je roedel verbetert, of je schuilplaatsen naar holen opwaarderen. Sommige acties kun je echter uitsluitend met je alfawolven uitvoeren en daar heb je er helaas niet zo veel van. De meeste punten scoor je door bepaalde gebieden te controleren op het moment dat de maan een bepaalde stand bereikt. Je hebt daarvoor de meeste speelstukken in zo’n gebied nodig. Omdat er per veld maar 2 speelstukken mogen staan, ontstaat er hevige concurrentie tussen de verschillende roedels van de spelers. Wolven is een zeer thematisch en uitdagend bordspel. De interactie tussen de roedels en het variabele speelveld zorgen er keer op keer voor dat je nieuwe strategieën en mogelijkheden moet verkennen om de winst naar je toe te trekken. Quite small.
These were way smaller than I imagined based on the photos. Those were obviously ai generated photos that don’t even look like the product at times. They are pretty flimsy and I wouldn’t buy again. My dog will tear this apart in 2 min. But it’s a good size to throw around I guess or maybe for a much smaller dog that doesn’t also want to chew.
3 stars because we will get some play out of them and there’s 2. Just know what you are getting

Very cute! My dog loves it!
You cannot beat the price of this donut dog toy and it includes two of them! I opened these up and my dog wanted to play with it right away. They are smallish, probably about the size of a regular donut. It might look a little small compared to my dog but he is 125lbs. These little donuts even have squeakers in them.
Is your dog going to be able to rip these apart… yes. I never expected him to not be able to rip these up. My dog first likes to give it nib nibs and then he will eventually rip it up. You will not find a better dog toy for the price that these are selling for on Amazon.
Plus it is adorable seeing your dog walking around with a donut in his mouth!

The indestructible sharkie
High and low have I searched when quite by accident I just happened upon the indestructible sharkie. We are fast approaching the 24 hour mark and sharkie is still with us. He has thus far resisted the incredibly strong, outrageously aggressive and persistent chewing of my Bernese mountain dog. Most don’t make it 20 min, so a whole day?!? Miracle!!! Not in love with the incessant squeaking that has followed me, but then again… that’s because this is actually not simply a review but a love story between a dog and his shark toy. Where others have failed, this one has endured. My water fearing dog has an obsession with shark shaped toys so while it would be nice to see a different character, truth is… I’ll be buying more sharkies. A lot of sharkies. Yard sharkie. Work sharkie. Maybe not house sharkie… but you get the point.

Great for tough chewers
I have purchased this twice! My dog absolutely loves it! He is a pit-bull Shepard mix and an extremely tough chewer. The first toy lasted almost a year of him chewing on it daily
