Hoe groeit een boom? Wat is het verschil tussen mdf en multiplex? Tussen torkx en kruiskop? En welke machine gebruik je waarvoor? In 2 dagen leer je wat voor soorten hout er zijn, hoe je die bewerkt, welke materialen waarvoor worden gebruikt en hoe je verbindingen maakt.

Tijdens dit weekend kun je kiezen of je het kastje op poten of de Enzo Mari stoel uit onze algemene niveau 1 cursussen wilt leren maken. Beiden projecten kunnen naar eigen smaak en afmetingen ontworpen worden: Rekening houdend met maximale afmetingen, beschikbaar materiaal en eigen ervaring. 

Het kastje is zo ontworpen dat alle basistechnieken aan bod komen, van maatvoeren (max hoogte x breedte 1m2) en zagen tot schuren. Bij Buurman staat hergebruik centraal. Tijdens de cursus werk je dus met verschillende soorten restmateriaal en laten we zien hoe je je kan laten inspireren door wat er is.

Kies je voor de stoel? Hiervan is het ontwerp gebaseerd op een stoel van Enzo Mari. Enzo Mari was een Italiaanse modernist en ontwerper van meubels. Hij is onder andere bekend om zijn DIY constructie-methode waarbij je met veelvoorkomende materialen verschillende meubels kunt maken.

Duur: 2 x 5 uur (+ een uurtje pauze) Gereedschappen: o.a. accu/boormachines, invalzaag, afkortzaag. Deelnemers: max. 6 cursisten Kosten: €325 inclusief materiaal.
