Met slechts 19,05 cm in doorsnede is dit een klein maar opvallend schaakbord met miniatuur schaakstukken. Wat echt opmerkelijk is, is dat er geen concessies zijn gedaan aan de uitstekende kwaliteit en aandacht voor detail. Deze schaakset is volledig vervaardigd uit massief hout (er is geen spaanplaat of MDF gebruikt in enig deel van de productie). Perfect ingelegd en elk vakje is een afzonderlijk stuk hout.

Prachtig gesneden in de klassieke Staunton-stijl, elk schaakstuk is vervaardigd uit massief hout en vertoont niet alleen een verbazingwekkende hoeveelheid detail ondanks het kleine formaat, maar de set wordt ook geleverd met extra dames. These pillows are fairly good quality, and keep their form better than what you might pick up at the end of the row at a big box store. After about a month of regular use, they've collapsed visibly from what they were on the first day, but still provide support. They are shipped flat in a container and take some time to plump up, but I didn't notice any strong odor on opening. Like most foam pillows, I expect a trip through an electric clothes dryer will probably fluff the pillows up again. I don't know what makes these "down alternative" as oppose to a regular foam-filled pillow, and there is a sharp distinction from my down pillow. Most notably, the down pillow provides much more support. There would be no mistaking one of these for a down pillow.
