De kruidachtig-frisse essentiële olie Lavandin demeter is eerder stimulerend en activerend dan de echte lavendel. Ze is uitstekend geschikt voor desinfectie en geurneutralisatie. Op fysiek niveau werkt ze activerend en is daarom een interessante etherische olie voor sporters. Ze heeft ook een tonisch effect op de huid en wordt daarom ook gebruikt in adermengsels.
