De Rubus idaeus 'Twotimer Sugana Yellow ' is een gele framboos die twee keer per jaar vruchten zal geven.  Voor het eerst in de zomer op oud hout en later nogmaals in augustus en oktober op vers gegroeid hout. Deze gele framboos geeft grote vruchten. Ze smaken ongeveer hetzelfde als een standaard roze framboos, maar ze zijn wel sappiger. In de vruchten zitten heel weinig zaadjes waardoor ze heerlijk zijn om zo van de plant te eten of ze te verwerken in sap of jam. Deze speciale framboos is zelfbestuivend en heeft dus geen andere frambozenplant nodig om vruchten te krijgen.  Deze framboos is winterhard en kan wel temperaturen tot -20 °C verdragen.

Verzorgen
Je hoeft het eerste jaar niet te snoeien. Daarna kun je in het vroege voorjaar de takken terugsnoeien. Hij houdt van een zonnige standplaats. Hoe meer zon de plant krijgt, hoe meer vruchten er aan zullen komen. Hij houdt van een humusrijke tot normale grond.

Hoe ziet mijn fruitplant er precies uit?
De geleverde 'Sugana Yellow' kan, afhankelijk van het bestelmoment, afwijken van de getoonde afbeeldingen. Omdat een Rubus een natuurproduct is met verschillende groei- en bloeistadia, is het niet mogelijk altijd exact de juiste stadia in afbeeldingen weer te geven. Hieronder zie je hoe de fruitplant er per seizoen uit ziet.

Voorjaar: blad & bloesem
Zomer: volledig in blad
Herfst: blad gaat verkleuren en vallen
Winter: kaal
