Na twee EPs is het voor Bente tijd voor haar debuutalbum genaamd ‘Als Ik Met De Wind Kon Dansen’, op de streamingdiensten uitgebracht op de voor haar heel bijzondere releasedatum 11-11-22. Het album reflecteert op het leven dat Bente leidt en alle emoties de daarbij komen kijken. Er is geen handleiding waarin staat hoe je het beste om kan gaan met wat het leven op je afvuurt, maar Bente vindt haar kracht steeds meer in haar kwetsbaarhied en laat een volwassen sound horen. Als Ik Met De Wind Kon Dansen bevat featurings van onder meer MEAU, Typhoon en Tim Knol. Met deze vinyl uitgave wordt aan Bente’s langgekoesterde wens voor haar eerste vinyl release voldaan. Deze LP is geperst op 180 grams vinyl.

Wise Advice for the College-Bound Student

I read this book after reading Newport's other study guide How to Become a Straight A Student and was looking forward to more of his easy to understand, quickly read nuggets of wisdom. Although I found the advice in his previous book to be more helpful, I did fine some words of advice that I will surely put to use in my upcoming semester. Among the gems I found, Newport reminds students to "Study in Fifty-Minute Chunks" and "Learn to Listen." In these short chapters there are ideas to help the student better utilize their time by minimizing distractions and knowing exactly what to listen for in a lecture. By far my favorite and most memorable line from this book is "A good analogy is that writing is to a college student what shooting hoops is to a basketball player." Wise advice indeed. I would recommend this book to high school an college students alike. The chapters are short and jam packed with good advice.

This was so well written, I loved every second of it. It was a lovely take on vampires and what they are or can be. Spoilers: This wasn’t an easy read for me. How Miyako’s parents acted… that was my parents only worse in a lot of ways and only better in that they never hit me as an adolescent. So reading this brought up memories of the abuse I suffered. Even so, it is a really good story and I highly recommend. I hope to read more of her stories soon and follow Miyako and see how she and her family grow as characters.
