Barnsteen is een natuurlijk product dat ontstaat uit fossiele plantenhars. Al eeuwenlang wordt barnsteen gedragen en ingezet bij verschillende vormen van ongemak. Wanneer barnsteen tegen de huid wordt gedragen, komt door de warmte van het lichaam barnsteenzuur vrij. Veel ouders kiezen daarom voor een barnsteen armbandje als natuurlijke ondersteuning tijdens periodes van ongemak of gevoeligheid. Het armbandje kan zowel om de pols als om de enkel worden gedragen.
