Standplaats en verzorging
Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Hameln’ groeit het beste in volle zon tot lichte halfschaduw in goed doorlatende grond. De plant is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. In het vroege voorjaar (februari/maart) kan hij worden teruggesnoeid tot net boven de grond om frisse nieuwe groei te stimuleren.
