De APC AP7953 is een switched Rack PDU (Power Distribution Unit) die ontworpen is voor slimme en betrouwbare stroomverdeling in professionele serveromgevingen. Deze Zero U PDU wordt verticaal in het rack gemonteerd, zodat je geen waardevolle U-ruimte opoffert voor stroomvoorziening. Met een nominale ingangsspanning van 230V en een maximale stroomsterkte van 32A is de AP7953 zeer geschikt voor zwaarder belaste racks en moderne, energie-intensieve IT-omgevingen.

De APC AP7953 beschikt over in totaal 24 uitgangen: 21x IEC 320 C13 en 3x IEC 320 C19. Daarmee sluit je eenvoudig een mix van traditionele 1U/2U-servers, blade-chassis, storage en zwaardere apparatuur aan. Omdat het een “switched” PDU is, kun je de uitgangen op afstand schakelen (bijvoorbeeld via netwerkbeheer), zodat je servers of apparaten gecontroleerd kunt rebooten zonder fysiek in het rack te hoeven duiken. Dit maakt de AP7953 ideaal voor datacenters, serverruimtes en remote locaties waar beheer op afstand en uptime belangrijk zijn. Het officiële partnummer van deze PDU is AP7953.
