TOEPASSING

Het binnen- en buitenshuis voegen van keramische tegels en natuursteen wanden en vloeren. Tevens geschikt als snelbindende lijm voor het zuurbestendig verlijmen van keramische tegels, natuursteen, asbestcement, beton en andere bouwmaterialen op alle in de bouw gangbare ondergronden. Met Kerapoxy kunt u vloeren, wanden en werkbladen, enz. creëren in overeenstemming met het HACCPsysteem en de eisen van verordening nr 852/2004 EG met betrekking tot hygiëne en levensmiddelen.

AANBRENGEN ALS MORTEL

Voorbereiden van de voegen De voegen dienen droog, schoon, stofvrij en over ten minste 2/3 van de diepte vrij te zijn. Overtollige lijm of mortel moet worden verwijderd wanneer deze nog vers is. Alvorens met voegen kan worden begonnen, moet de ondergrondmortel of tegellijm zijn uitgehard en een groot deel van zijn vochtigheid hebben verloren. Kerapoxy wordt niet aangetast door vocht op het oppervlak, maar de voegen mogen tijdens het afvoegen niet nat zijn. Bereiden van het product Voeg de verharder (component B) toe aan de emmer met component A en meng tot een homogeen mengsel is verkregen. Om een perfecte pasta te verkrijgen en ter voorkoming van oververhitting van het mengsel, hetgeen de verwerkingstijd nadelig beïnvloedt, dient hiervoor bij voorkeur een langzaam draaiende elektrische mixer te worden gebruikt. Gebruik de pasta binnen 45 minuten na bereiding. Aanbrengen van het mengsel Breng Kerapoxy aan met het daarvoor bestemde MAPEI-voegrubber en zorg ervoor dat de voegen volledig worden opgevuld. Verwijder het teveel aan voegmiddel met de zijkant van het voegrubber.

Afwerken

Het schoonmaken van de vloer of wand na het voegen, moet worden uitgevoerd voordat Kerapoxy is uitgehard. Maak het oppervlak goed nat en reinig het met een speciaal voor het reinigen van voegen geschikte schuurspons (Scotch Brite® spons of MAPEI voegen reinigingskit).

VERBRUIK

Het verbruik van Kerapoxy varieert, afhankelijk van de grootte van de voegen, afmetingen en dikte van de tegels. De tabel toont het verbruik in kg/m2. Indien Kerapoxy wordt gebruikt als lijm, is het verbruik 2-4 kg/m2.

VERPAKKING

Kerapoxy wordt geleverd in een vooraf zorgvuldig afgemeten mengverhouding. Verpakkingen bestaan uit emmers met component A en flacons met component B waarvan de inhoud op het moment van gebruik met component A moet worden vermengd. Het totale gewicht van van de verpakking is: 10, 5 en 2 kg.

KLEUREN

Kerapoxy is verkrijgbaar in de 20 kleuren volgens de “MAPEI gekleurde voegen” range.

HOUDBAARHEID

Kerapoxy heeft, mits in een droge omgeving en in de originele verpakking bewaard, een houdbaarheid van 24 maanden. Bewaar component A bij een temperatuur van tenminste + 10° C om kristallisatie te voorkomen.

The warming button is so easy to touch /come on that several times on my desk, it has come on without me realizing it from paper hitting it, a pen rolled against it or simply moving it over and it is on highest setting when it comes on so I have burned my fingers now twice. I just always double and triple check it isn’t on.

Powerful Mug Warmer with Excellent Heat Output and Large Heating Surface

CAUTION: Unplug when not using. It is very easy to activate or turn on by mistake. Simply brushing up next to it will turn it on. Nonetheless, I use this SWEETFULL coffee mug warmer every morning and afternoon. It’s usually one of the first things I turn on so I can preheat my latte cup before pulling espresso. I like my lattes very hot, and preheating the cup helps prevent heat loss during extraction. I also use it as a candle warmer as an alternative to open flame, which I prefer for indoor air quality. The heat output is impressive. Even on the lowest setting, it gets very hot and reaches usable temperature quickly. The large heating surface is a major advantage. My latte and cappuccino cups have a wide mouth, and this warmer heats the entire base evenly rather than just the center, which makes a noticeable difference in temperature retention. Warm-up time is reasonable, though slightly faster heating would make it even better, especially during busy mornings when I’m trying to get out the door. That said, it’s not slow enough to be a real drawback, and once it’s hot, it performs consistently. Overall, this is a strong performer that does exactly what it’s designed to do. Best mug warmer I have tried

I am retired and use my mug warmer pretty much all day. I normally start my day with a cup of coffee and then switch to tea the rest of the day. Even when I work on projects around the house or leave to run errands, there is a cup of something on the warmer. So there is basically a mug on the warmer from 7 am until midnight making a good quality mug warmer a necessity. I have tried two other mug warmers and with mixed results. The others I tried both turned on automatically activated by the weight of the mug which I did like. However, there we a few times when I left a mug on the warmer overnight so that design has it's flaws, and now that I have tried it, I prefer the four hour auto shut off feature of this model. I also like the three temperatures settings....a lot. The high temp setting (and it's hot) comes in real handy when you need to reheat a mug's contents after it shuts off when left unattended. I also use it when I make instant oatmeal in a ceramic bowl that has a thick bottom and it keeps the contents hot. Plus the middle and low end settings are nice so you can change the temperature of the contents to suit your mood. One design feature I have really come to appreciate is the no slip bottom. This mug warmer stays put and does not slide around on the table top. A real nice feature if you have furniture made from wood or other finish that might otherwise get scratched. The soft touch switch on this mug warmer blends in with the wood design of the model I have which does make it a bit harder to see, especially in low light settings. However, it is directly opposite the power cord so I have gotten use to locating it by feel and activating it by a swipe of one finger....it's pretty cool once you get used to it. Plus the indicator light is easy to see and know what setting the warmer is on. After having used this mug warmer for a while now I have really come to appreciate the quality and features this unit has for the price. The others I tried were as much as $10 more and not nearly as nice...and obviously did not last very long. One thing worth pointing out is the hot setting is very hot. If you have small toddlers in the house who use things to help them stand up and balance, this might not be the best model to choose. But that is the only real negative I can think of really. In my opinion, and this is all about that, this is a great mug warmer at any price point and I can recommend it without hesitation.
