Hoe manage je een Smart-UPS op afstand?
Met de ap9641 APC netwerkkaart verbind je een APC Smart-UPS (voorzien van een SmartSlot) met het netwerk. Zo kun je de UPS zowel monitoren als beheren op afstand (SNMP, EcoStruxure™ IT, webbrowser) en kan de UPS een shutdown signaal versturen naar meerdere fysieke en/of virtuele servers middels PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

Monitor de omgeving
Bij de AP9641 is één temperatuursensor (AP9335T) inbegrepen, waardoor de omgevingstemperatuur van de ups op afstand te monitoren is. Ook behoort een automatische temperatuur geïnitieerde shutdown van de ups tot de mogelijkheden.

Meet de vochtigheid
De AP9641 biedt daarnaast nog plaats aan een tweede sensor, kies je voor de AP9335TH, dan kan je zowel de luchtvochtigheid als de temperatuur van de omgeving waarin de ups staat monitoren. Hierdoor behoort een automatische shutdown van ups geïnitieerd door een te hoge luchtvochtigheid ook nog tot de mogelijkheden.

Draadloze ups monitoring via wifi
Door de AP9834 APC USB Wi-Fi dongle aan te sluiten op de netwerkkaart kan deze draadloos met je netwerk communiceren.

Additionele ups monitoring via relais
In plaats van een tweede sensor kan je er ook voor kiezen de voordelen van UPS monitoring via SNMP en potentiaalvrije / droge contacten te combineren. Dit doe je door de ap9641 te combineren met de ap9810.

Hoe voorkom je dataloss?
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS-beheersoftware die samenwerkt met de UPS Network Management Card om o.a. Windows, linux en Host ESXi, maar ook hyperconverged en virtuele infrastructuur te beschermen*. In geval van een stroomstoring kan PowerChute uw virtuele machines op de correcte manier uitschakelen en zorgt de vooraf geconfigureerde opstartvolgorde ervoor dat ze weer worden ingeschakeld.

*Voor HCI en virtual machine support is een additionele licentie benodigd:

Beheer en bewaking op afstand van uw netwerk
De netwerkkaart kan extern worden beheerd via de gebruiksvriendelijke webbrowserinterface, remote management software EcoStruxure™ IT (SFTWES1-DIGI) of een ander SNMP-compatibel systeem. Tip EcoStruxure™ IT omvat tevens de functionaliteiten van onderstaand support contract.

Supportcontract
De optionele netwerkkaart supportcontract licentie** zorgt ervoor dat je altijd up-to-date en veilig bent en omvat extra voordelen zoals frequente updates met:
• Nieuwe en verbeterde functies
• Beveiligingsupdates
• Geavanceerde ondersteuning

**De licentie is het eerste jaar inclusief en beschikbaar in de varianten:
1 jaar: SWNMC3SU-1Y-DIGI

Remote outlet switching
Vastgelopen aangesloten apparaten kunnen middels controlled outlet groups reeds aanwezig op de ups en icm een netwerkkaart op afstand worden gerestart, zodat de functionaliteit kan worden hersteld zonder dat er personeel hoeft te worden ingezet.

Remote monitoring service
De optionele Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Asset Advisor service (WUPG1PEAA-UG-01) biedt maximale bescherming en ontzorging, door kritieke apparatuur middels SE's connected services hub 24/7 real-time voor u op afstand te bewaken. Bij incidenten zal SE u zowel via slimme alarmering rechtstreeks contacteren op uw mobiele telefoon en tevens direct voorzien van de probleemoplossing.

Asset Advisor is een cloudgebaseerde bewakingsservice op afstand die siteproblemen op een tijdige en efficiënte manier kan bewaken, oplossen en volgen.
