De houtskool is zeer geschikt voor het gebruik van een gesloten barbecue zoals een kamado. Door de grote houtskoolsortering is de luchtstroom in de barbecue goed te reguleren en kan eenvoudig van temperatuur gewisseld worden. Maar ook in een open grill is de houtskool goed te gebruiken doordat je eenvoudig hoge temperaturen kunt bereiken.
Door de combinatie van eiken, berken en haagbeuk is er een mix ontstaan die erg simpel aansteekt en tevens een subtiel rooksmaak afgeeft. De subtiele rooksmaak in combinatie met de perfecte luchtstroom staat garant voor een geweldige resultaat.
