Achtergrondinformatie: Het prachtige domaine Chapelle light bovenin het dorp Santenay. Alleen het uitzicht is al een bezoek waard. De wijngaarden liggen pal ten zuiden van de beroemde wijngaarden van Chassagne-Montrachet. Het bedrijf van 20 hectare is in 1987 overgenomen door zoon van de familie Jean Francois Chapelle.Tijdens de oogst, handgeplukt, worden de druiven geselecteerd en ontsteeld; een koude inwerking van 8 dagen en een vergisting van 10 dagen; lagering op houten vaten waarin van 30% nieuwe vaten. De Pinot Noir wordt gemaakt van 60 jaar oude stokken.
