De HIGHTAIL Hair Protector is een helm-gemonteerde haarbeschermer speciaal voor motorrijders met lang haar. Hij voorkomt klitten, houdt je haar droog en zorgt dat je er na elke rit nog verzorgd uitziet. Geen vlechten nodig – gewoon je haar erin en rijden. Twijfel je over de montage? Montage

  1. Reinig de achterkant van je helm grondig en laat drogen.
  2. Breng de meegeleverde 3M Primer 94 aan op de bevestigingsplek en laat 2 minuten (120 seconden) drogen.
  3. Plak de meegeleverde helmet mounting clips stevig op de helm en druk minstens 10 seconden aan.
  4. Belangrijk: Laat de lijm 72 uur uitharden voordat je de Hair Protector in de clips klikt of gaat rijden. Doe je dit eerder, dan kunnen de clips loslaten door de spanning.
  5. Na 72 uur klik je de Hair Protector vast in de clips – klaar om te rijden.

Werkt de HIGHTAIL Hair Protector met mijn helm?

De HIGHTAIL werkt met de meeste gangbare motorhelmen: integraal, jet en modulair. De clips worden met 3M Primer 94 bevestigd op de buitenkant van de helm. Helmen met een sterk gebogen of geribbelde achterkant kunnen minder geschikt zijn.

Hoe lang mag mijn haar zijn?

De HIGHTAIL is geschikt voor middellang tot lang haar. Hij werkt voor alle haartypes: steil, krullend, dik of dun. Het Spandex materiaal rekt soepel mee zonder te knellen.

Kan ik de Hair Protector wassen?

Ja, de HIGHTAIL Hair Protector is uitsluitend geschikt voor handwas in lauw water met een milde zeep. Niet in de wasmachine of droger – dit beschadigt het elastische binnenframe.

Zijn de clips los verkrijgbaar?

Ja, de HIGHTAIL helmet mounting clips zijn los verkrijgbaar bij BikerGadgets, handig als reserveonderdeel of voor een tweede helm.

Is de HIGHTAIL ook geschikt voor scooterrijders en fietsers?

Ja, de HIGHTAIL werkt ook prima met scooter- en fietshelmen, zolang de buitenkant van de helm vlak genoeg is voor de clips.

3M Primer 94 verbetert de hechting van de zelfklevende clips. Wil je de clips verwijderen, gebruik dan een haardroger op lage stand om de lijm te verzachten voordat je de clip van de helm pelt.

We wanted a temperature probe that was simple and works well. This one was it. We grill as often as possible and were just tired of having a good piece of meat come out either over or under cooked. I like a steak medium and my wife likes it medium well to well done. We use a Weber Genesis E410 that works great and has good heat control. Our first use of this Typhur thermometer gave us a great result. Not sure how it will work on a larger item like a brisket or a turkey but, at this point, we see no reason to expect any lesser result. It had accuracy, good range, and seems quite durable. Grilling is, among other things, is its own social event., so we did not use an "Ap" to watch the event on a smart phone. (We try to limit the use of smart phones when we are outside to encourage human interaction.) Typhur offers an Ap but the base unit was all we wanted to try and it works great.

Great quality of life improvement!

Got this on sale for $40. This thing is crazy good for the price, especially if you get it on sale. Battery life isn’t a huge concern anyway, but rechargeable USB-C is great. Because it’s wireless, the stick is on the thicker side. This makes it easy to clean, but also inadvisable for your thinner meats (obviously). It looks right at home stuck on my fridge by the oven and air fryer, and temps it gave me through the phone were pretty close. I connected this to my 2.4Ghz network, which I can easily monitor from my phone connected on my 5Ghz network. I think it could do better with its time estimates, but I’m physically close enough to my food when it’s nearly done cooking anyway. I tested with frozen steak straight into the air fryer. It was quite close to what I was looking for, compared to how I’d do it before without a thermometer. As someone with little to no time to cook every day, it really eases the mental burden for sure of knowing that the food’s not under- or over-done. For $40, totally worth it.

The 932F is not anywhere good enough for my radiant ceramic grill, which goes up above 1300F anyway. So I saved a bunch of money and have something that does everything I need and no more. For the price, this is 5 star
