Deze karikaturale kaart toont Europa bij het uitbreken van de Frans-Pruisische Oorlog van 1870-1871. Bijna elk land wordt afgebeeld in menselijke gedaante, waarbij elk figuur de huidige politieke situatie van de staat weergeeft. Oostenrijk is een magere figuur die door de knie van een dikke Pruis in bedwang wordt gehouden, omdat de Oostenrijkers de Oostenrijks-Pruisische oorlog van 1866 hadden verloren. Turkije in Europa wordt afgebeeld terwijl het ontwaakt voor de opkomende golf van nationalisme in de Europese provincies van Turkije. Rusland wordt daarentegen afgebeeld als een grote, reusachtige figuur. Rugzijde blank.
Kleurenlithografie, ontworpen in 1870 door Paul Hadol en uitgegeven in 1914 te Hamburg door Charles Fuchs. 
Vouwen als uitgegeven. Overigens in uitstekende kwaliteit. Stevig papier.

This is an incredibly sharp looking suit for the little guy. Great price and features, too. I made a mistake in sizing up instead of down and first one was too sloppy on him and would need alterations. He is thin and very thin in the waist. There is a lot of adjustment with buttons in waistband and coat hides the bunching. This shirt and coat will easily take a fuller body than slim I believe.
