Op dit album komen de werelden van de New Cool Collective Big Band en de saxofonist Thierno Koite (oa. Orchestra Baobab, Le Sahel) samen. New Cool Collective kwam de saxofonist tegen op een reis door Afrika in 2013 en zag zijn geluid als inspiratie voor het schrijven van een geheel nieuw repertoire. Perfect gift!
Bought one of these for my father, and one of these for my uncle for Christmas. They both like how they weren’t flimsy, stayed in place, and kept a minimalistic aesthetic.
