Onze ingrediënten

Voor het maken van ons voer wordt er voor een 12 kg-zak 10,6 kg vlees ingedroogd, zodat dit beter te verwerken is in onze brok. Met de juiste hoeveelheid groente, fruit en kruiden is Yourdog een gezonde, voedzame keuze voor de hond.

Buffel

Bij Yourdog gebruiken wij vlees van vrij opgegroeide en gras gevoerde buffels. Buffelvlees staat bekend om zijn romige, frisse smaak en rijke kleur en zit vol met vitaminen en mineralen. Met een lager cholesterol- en vetgehalte en minder calorieën zit dit malse vlees bomvol gezondheidsvoordelen.

Gevogelte

Bij Yourdog maken wij gebruik van eend, kip en kalkoen welke samen zorgen voor een heerlijke smaak en aroma van de brok. De hoog verteerbare eiwitten in het gevogelte zorgen voor een goede spieropbouw en zijn rijk aan vitaminen en mineralen.

Groente

Om de hond te voorzien van extra waardevolle voedingsstoffen zijn supergezonde groenten aan ons voer toegevoegd. Zo zijn groenten niet alleen voedzaam, maar hebben ze ook nog andere gezonde eigenschappen. De ruwe vezel in groenten is goed voor de darmen en kan onder andere bijdragen aan de spijsvertering.

Fruit

Wij voegen een unieke combinatie van fruit toe aan Yourdog, waardoor de hond alle essentiële, natuurlijke antioxidanten binnen krijgt. Zo kan fruit goed zijn voor het immuunsysteem van de hond, maar het kan ook bijdragen aan een frisse adem of het behouden van een gezonde spijsvertering. Deze natuurlijke ingrediënten bevorderen de gezondheid van de hond.

Kruiden

De gezonde kruiden die ons voer verrijken zijn afkomstig van planten uit Europa. Het gebruik van onder andere kruiden, wortels, bloemen, planten en wieren vindt zijn oorsprong al duizenden jaren terug. Deze ingrediënten ondersteunen de natuurlijke processen in het lichaam van de hond, zoals de spijsvertering. Ieder ingrediënt dat wij aan ons hondenvoer toevoegen is met zorg geselecteerd vanwege de positieve eigenschappen. Afhankelijk van de grootte van de hond, het ras of de rasgroep worden ingrediënten extra onder de aandacht gebracht. Rasspecifieke klachten kunnen worden verminderd door het gebruik van kruiden, wortels, bloemen en planten.

Zwitserse witte herder specifieke groente, kruiden en fruit

Wij hebben zorgvuldig de raseigenschappen van de Zwitserse witte herder onderzocht. Ook hebben we onderzoek gedaan naar de eigenschappen van de FCI-ras sectie en de FCI-rasgroep waar de Zwitserse witte herder toe behoort. Uit deze onderzoeken zijn, in overleg met vooraanstaande Nederlandse voedingsdeskundige, ingrediënten geselecteerd die de gezondheid en het welzijn van de Zwitserse witte herder optimaal ten goede komen.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is een lichaamseigen stof die te vinden is in gewrichten, kraakbeen, gewrichtsvloeistof en pezen. Glucosamine stimuleert het aanmaken van kraakbeen en het soepel houden van gewrichten.

Glucosamine is een van de meest gebruikte supplementen voor honden met artrose en/of gewrichtsproblemen. Dit is niet alleen het geval bij oudere honden, of (te) zware honden, maar ook steeds meer bij jongere, zeer beweeglijke honden. Bijvoorbeeld door een erfelijke aanleg voor gewrichtsproblemen. Om deze en andere redenen wordt er glucosamine toegevoegd aan ons hondenvoer.

Appel

De appelboom is een boom uit het geslacht Malus, waaraan de vooral op het noordelijk halfrond algemeen bekende handappels groeien. De appel groeit in de gematigde streken.

Voedingsvezels hebben een veelzijdige werking in het spijsverteringskanaal. Ze zijn in staat vocht te absorberen, waardoor de ontlasting zacht en soepel wordt. Tevens zorgen voedingsvezels voor een toename van het volume in de darmen. Dit stimuleert niet alleen de werking van de ingewanden, maar zorgt ook voor een grondige afvoer van afvalstoffen.

Appels zitten bomvol vitaminen, mineralen, antioxidanten en vezels. Hiernaast zijn appels rijk aan pectine. Pectine is een oplosbare vezel die bijdraagt aan het ondersteunen van een gezonde darmflora. Ook draagt het bij aan de smakelijkheid van de brokken en zijn appels laag in calorieën.

Rijk aan vitamine A en C. Vitamine A is goed voor de huid en vacht en versterkt het immuunsysteem. Vitamine C zorgt voor de ontwikkeling van spier en bot tijdens de jonge jaren.

Banaan

De bananenplant groeit in tropische gebieden waar de temperatuur niet onder de 10 graden Celsius komt. Er zijn zelfs aanwijzingen dat de banaan ongeveer 7.000 jaar geleden in Nieuw-Guinea zou zijn gecultiveerd. De benaming is afgeleid van het woord Œbanaana uit de taal van de Wolof bevolking.

Bananen zijn rijk aan vitamines en mineralen. Waaronder vitamine A, C en B11 (foliumzuur) en de mineralen kalium, magnesium, ijzer en zink. Het natuurlijke antioxidant, vitamine C, kan de weerstand versterken. Vitamine B11, oftewel foliumzuur, kan het immuunsysteem ondersteunen en kan bijdragen aan een goed werkend zenuwstelsel. Tevens kan het de kans op hart- en vaatziekten verminderen. Ook kan kalium bijdragen aan het verlagen van de bloeddruk bij honden met een hoge bloeddruk, magnesium kan bijdragen aan het ontspannen van de spieren en het bevorderen van de botgroei. Daarnaast bevat banaan veel goede vezels en zorgt het voor meer goede bacteriën in de darmen.

Pup, volwassen of senior?

Om je te helpen bij het maken van de juiste keuze tussen onze varianten Zwitserse witte herder hondenvoer kun je gebruik maken van de volgende richtlijnen. Is jouw Zwitserse witte herder jonger dan 11 maanden, kies dan voor de Puppy variant. Voor een Zwitserse witte herder ouder dan 7 jaar adviseren we de Yourdog Zwitserse witte herder senior. Is jouw hond ouder dan 11 maanden en jonger dan 7 jaar, dan kun je de Adult variant kiezen.

Overstapadvies

Stap je over op Yourdog vanaf een ander voermerk dan adviseren wij de volgende stappen te volgen. Voor de eerste stap voer je 25% Yourdog en 75% van het oude hondenvoer. De hond kan hier gedurende twee dagen aan wennen. Vervolgens voer je 50% Yourdog en 50% van het oude hondenvoer. Het is belangrijk dat je de hond ook hier weer twee of drie dagen aan laat wennen. Daarna meng je 75% Yourdog en 25% van het oude hondenvoer. De hond is nu bijna helemaal over op Yourdog. Doe dit gedurende 2 dagen. Naar eigen inzicht kun je hierna 100% Yourdog Zwitserse witte herder hondenvoer gaan voeren.

Bewaaradvies

Na het openen van de Yourdog verpakking wordt de voeding blootgesteld aan zuurstof, vocht en licht, wat de houdbaarheid en smaak kan beïnvloeden. Daarom is het belangrijk de voeding na het openen van de zak op een goede manier te bewaren, bij voorkeur in een luchtdichte bewaardoos of -ton op een droge, koele en donkere plaats. Het beste is om de voeding niet los in de ton te doen, maar deze met de hele zak, die je weer zo goed mogelijk dichtmaakt, in de ton te zetten.

THE SINGLE FINEST AND MOST ESSENTIAL BOOK OF THE AGE

A masterpiece of scholarship and analysis. This book is nothing less than the single most important work that you will ever read. Our entire culture is built on Holocaust Denial while those most responsible for this abnesia drape themselves in the flag of holocaust memorialism but have little honesty in their true agenda. An agenda that allows in North America alone for there to be at least 50 Holocaust memorials, museums and monuments... only problem is they are ALL about the Holocaust that happened in Europe and NOT about the colossal extermination that took place where they live. It is not only denial on the part of the nations of the Americas and Europe but those responsible for this Holocaust Denial in relation to Indian America insist on an image of being the world's caretakers of holocaust memory. What a bloody audacity. Why do we let the Spanish off the hook so lightly? Why is there no demand for Spain to make its Mea Culpa? Why is there no AMERICAS HOLOCAUST memorial in Madrid, Washington, London and Ottawa ? This brilliant book re-addresses the imbalance. POST SCRIPT.... There is a reviewer further down who uses the monica of "history buff" who rejects the value and integrity of this work. In fact he utterly insults Mr Stannard and his thesis. So I thought I would check out his other reviews...oh boy! One of the remarks he makes in a book claiming that Saddam was behind 9/11 goes "But it is very difficult to argue with the facts that were available to the agencies which pointed to a direct link between Saddam and Al Qaeda." This example of his world view is the mild end of it. So people consider the character of the self-described "history buff" who rejects Stannard's brilliant thesis on the Holocaust in the Americas. The reviewer "history buff" has a world view that comes straight out of the 1950's HUAC committee (he associates all Left wing thought with the Soviet Union not knowing that the Bolshevik regime prohibited the platform of the revolution and that its first victims were in fact the most sincere and dedicated Left revolutionaries. Clearly he has never read the finest autobiography in the history of English language autobiography; Emma Goldman's LIVING MY LIFE volume 1 and volume 2. The latter volume includes a first hand account of the destruction NOT construction of socialism by Lenin and his cohorts ). .

EXTINCTION
Format: Paperback
Normally when the word extinct is used it is in reference to animals but after reading this book this term can legitimately be used to describe what happened to the original citizens of America the American Indians. Christopher Columbus and his minions (I refuse to call them soldiers) savagely murdered and killed countless numbers of these Indians, a vivid example of this is given on page 83 " One favorite sport of the conquistadors was "dogging." Traveling as they did with packs of armored wolfhounds and mastiffs that were on a diet of human flesh and were trained to disembowel Indians, the Spanish used the dogs to terrorize slaves and to entertain the troops. An entire book Dogs of the Conquest, has been published recently, detailing the exploits of these animals as they accompanied their masters throughout the course of the Spanish depredations. "A properly fleshed dog," these authors say, "could pursue a 'savage' as zealously and effectively as a deer or a boar.... To many of the conquerors, the Indian was merely another savage animal, and the dogs were trained to pursue and rip apart their human quarry with the same zest as they felt when hunting wild beasts." And also on pages 83-84 "Just as the Spanish soldiers seem to have particularly enjoyed testing the sharpness of their yard-long rapier blades on the bodies of Indian children, so their dogs seemed to find the soft bodies of infants especially tasty, and thus the accounts of the invading conquistadors and the padres who traveled with them are filled with detailed descriptions of young Indian children routinely taken from their parents and fed to the hungry animals. Men who could take pleasure in this sort of thing had little trouble with less sensitive matters, such as the sacking and burning of entire cities and towns, and the destruction of books and tablets containing millennia of accumulated knowledge, wisdom, and religious belief." After page 146 there's an illustrated unnumbered section titled Genocide the first nine pages of this section contain pictures of how the Spanish tortured and killed Indian women and children as stated on the second page of this section "[The Spaniards] took babies from their mothers' breasts, grabbing them by the feet and smashing their heads against rocks...They built a long gibbet, low enough for the toes to touch the ground and prevent strangling, and hanged thirteen [natives] at a time in honor of Christ Our Saviour and the twelve Apostles. Then, straw was wrapped around their torn bodies and they were burned alive." Not to be outdone the good old American cavalry also engaged in its' fair share of savage murder and killing as can be seen from the bottom of page126 to the top of page 127 "They turned their guns, Hotchkiss guns, etc., upon the women who were in the lodges standing under a flag of truce, and of course as soon as they were fired upon they fled....There was a woman with an infant in her arms who was killed as she almost touched the flag of truce, and the women and children of course were strewn all along the circular village until they were dispatched. Right near the flag of truce a mother was shot down with her infant; the child not knowing that its mother was dead was still nursing, and that was especially a very sad sight. The women as they were fleeing with their babes were killed together, shot right through, and the women who were very heavy with child were also killed." I personally do not celebrate Columbus Day and Thanksgiving Day this book is ample proof and evidence as to why these two days should be set aside as a time for mourning not celebration, if you want your children to have a true understanding of American history then I strongly urge you to buy this book and have it as part of your home library.

Probably the best book I have ever read on the subject. Unlike most books written by college professors who love to give their opinion, tell ya how it is, Stannard lets the actual notes of the past speak for themselves. Also probably the best sourced book I have ever read (and I have read many). It can be a bit of a tough read, horror show that our history is but itʼs mandatory knowledge. Without spoiling it, the book is laid out in a most unexpected but awesome way that really nails it. It gets into the WTF were these people thing in a most thorough way. VERY VERY well thought through. I thought it ended in a bit of an odd spot (time), but iʼm sure that was intentional. Should be in every high school classroom in America.

There was plenty of work put into this book and a lot of research. The reason why I did not give the fifth star is due to the reading of the book. To me I felt like I was back in school reading a textbook which after a time became tedious. It started to get to the point of reading too fast just to get the pages to go by. I probably missed some information as I found the book boring at times. The advice that I would give somebody is to read the book slowly and not to read too many pages and then put it down to pick it up another day. This way you can absorb the information better.

The Unalterable Truth

The publisher's description of this book claims that there would be a severe reaction within American society due to the facts Professor Stannard brought to light. There was, unfortunately yet not unexpectedly, not much of a response to the horrifying truths revealed in his compelling narrative on the fate of the Western Hemisphere's indigenous people. Most Americans simply do not seem to care whether their nation's history, from the moment Columbus set foot in "The New World" and claimed that the people he encountered would make good slaves to the immediate present, is bathed in copious amounts of indigenous people's blood. The European's behavior when they were unleashed upon the unsuspecting Native Americans reveals not only their homicidal nature and destructive approach to a relatively pristine world; but their unfathomably horrid and continuous attempts to keep the destruction and death going. Extermination was the name of the game and even a cursory glance at the American newspapers of the nineteenth century reveals a national psychology which leaves one in a vast and endless state of confusion and disbelief. But it's all true. The phrase, "The Final Solution" was coined by nineteenth century Americans, not Hitler's Germany. Tens of millions perished, an eternal food source, the buffalo herds, were almost rendered extinct and while all this was occurring the people of Africa were chained to their masters' bidding. The people of Iraq understand. So do the Vietnamese and now the Syrians and many, many, many more. Of course, on publication Dr. Stannard was labeled a crank for mostly revealing that American "exceptionalism" is merely a high falootin' excuse for mass death and destruction.
