Lacq Vlonder en Terrasolie Bankirai is ontwikkeld voor het beschermen van houten vlonders, terrassen en schuttingen. De olie dringt diep in het hout en zorgt voor een langdurige bescherming tegen weersinvloeden en vocht.

Dankzij de samenstelling van plantaardige oliën en wassen wordt het hout maximaal geïmpregneerd. Dit helpt om de aangroei van algen en schimmels te beperken. De kleur Bankirai geeft het hout een warme bruine uitstraling die goed aansluit bij veel gebruikte hardhoutsoorten.

Het product is eenvoudig te verwerken en in veel situaties is één laag voldoende. Hierdoor blijft het onderhoud van terrassen en vlonderdelen overzichtelijk en efficiënt.

Het is daarom aan te raden eerst een proefstuk op te zetten om het resultaat te beoordelen.

Hoe verf ik met Lacq Vlonder en Terrasolie Bankirai?

Laat het product eerst op kamertemperatuur komen. Verwerken tussen 9 °C en 25 °C. Verwijder alle bestaande verf- en beitslagen volledig.

Vergrijsd hout eerst ontgrijzen met een geschikte houtontgrijzer. Het hout altijd reinigen en ontvetten vóór behandeling.

Roer het product goed door vanaf de bodem. Gebruik een platte kwast of roller geschikt voor oplosmiddelhoudende verf. Breng de olie aan in de lengterichting van het hout en werk plank voor plank of in zones.

Laat de olie 10 tot 15 minuten intrekken. Om laagdikteopbouw te voorkomen moet de overtollige olie worden uitgeboend met een niet pluizende doek totdat het oppervlak handdroog aanvoelt. Wanneer overtollige olie niet wordt verwijderd kunnen glimmende of plakkerige plekken ontstaan.

Wanneer na droging nog schrale plekken zichtbaar zijn kan de behandeling worden herhaald.

Gereedschap reinigen met terpentine. Let op dat gebruikt textiel kan broeien en brandgevaar kan opleveren. Overgiet gebruikte doeken met water en laat deze volledig drogen.

It’s $30 to return and quickly STINKS from body heat

Original review about $30 return below, but since it cost to return I gave it to my husband. He’s a hot sleeper so other than this pillow we’ve switched to all cotton, linen or wool bedding and it’s made a huge difference. (Polyester is plastic so it reflects your heat back to you and makes you sweat more and doesn’t breathe.) I truly would not have kept this pillow except $30 felt like a waste just to return and he got excited about it. So okay, it’s his. Well I’m the laundry queen in our household (he does all dishes) and I realized very quickly this pillow would need to be washed OFTEN. Like, once a week is NOT enough. Something about body heat and this material smells HORRIBLE. Washing it is obviously not easy, so I handwash the outer layer of the pillow with a very gentle soap (bought for silk). And then it has to hang dry. It doesn’t matter. I can clean it perfectly, no smell remaining whatsoever, but after two nights, it’s so strong I can smell it JUST STANDING NEAR THE BED. Look. I mentioned my hubs sleeps hot, sure. But he’s hygienic. This should not be such an issue. It’s never been an issue with any other pillows. The smell doesn’t even smell like him or like B.O. or anything. It’s awful and legitimately churns my stomach. But can I throw out the stupid $200 thing? Noooo. Now he’s attached. And I’m spending hours of my life each week washing it to keep from feeling sick sleeping near it at night. And to avoid having wasted $200. Hate this thing. DON’T BUY THIS STUPID PILLOW. Dropping from 2 stars to 1 Because of the smell. Original review: I thought I could buy this and see if the height would work for me. It didn’t, and pinched my neck instead. But now the *only* way to return it is to ship through UPS (not return to the UPS Store or Kohl’s or Whole Foods, which would be free). I was going to return it and try a different size, but such a high price just to *try* it is not worth it to me. I’ve returned much larger (defective) items in the past without hassle or cost (like an entire heavy duty garage shelf with broken pieces). Had I known, I would not have ordered in the first place, so I hope this saves someone else. As for the pillow itself, it was unique, but I couldn’t even really lay my head on it for more than a moment until I had let it air out for more than a week. It REEKED upon arrival. My husband said it smelled like ozone, and my brother compared it to the inside of an airplane. It burned my throat if I tried to lay on it for more than about 30 seconds at a time. Two and a half weeks later, the smell is still slightly there. So even if it was comfy for me, I would not keep this pillow.

I do have to update my experience. This still is a very comfortable pillow, it's just I can't sleep with it under my head (it's now my hug pillow). I am really very impressed with the quality of this pillow. It is softer than I anticipated but still firm enough to keep my head elevated giving me perfect spine alignment and great support. It truly is the MOST COMFORTABLE supportive Pillow I have ever slept on! The smell is only minor at It's worst and has nearly disappeared after just 4 days. It is a mild latex smell but definitely NOT petroleum. It's in the moderate price range at ~$100 and worth every cent. High value for the price. I really really like this pillow and highly recommend it. Big fan! Might irder a 2nd as a backup if it doesn't last but it's so well made I feel that won't be a problem.
