Echter vormt deze champagne de top, niet alleen in Ay, maar in de gehele champagne.Vakmanschap van Ayala
Deze champagne van Ayala bestaat voor 80% uit Chardonnay druiven en voor 20% uit Pinot Noir druiven. Echter zijn het geen gewone druiven. Alle druiven die gebruikt zijn voor Ayala Cuvee Perle D Ayala Champagne zijn afkomstig van Grand Cru wijngaarden. Dit zijn wijngaarden die het hoogst geclassificeerd zijn binnen de champagne. Zo groeien de Chardonnay druiven op Grand Cru percelen in Chouilly en Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. De Pinot Noir druiven groeien op de Grand Cru velden rondom Ay. De opbrengst van deze druiven is laag, dus deze Champagne wordt gelimiteerd uitgebracht.De geur en smaak van deze prachtige Champagne
Voordat de flessen Ayala Cuvee Perle D Ayala Champagne de kelders mogen verlaten, gaat er een heel proces aan vooraf. Omdat de capaciteit voor deze champagne laag is, rijpen de flessen langer door in de kelders. De flessen hebben, zodra ze de kelders van Ayala verlaten, minimaal 8 jaar gerijpt. Juist hierdoor ontstaat er een complex pallet in de neus en op de tong. Gebakken brood en brioche vormen de boventoon gecombineerd met aantrekkelijke mineralen. Daarnaast herken je duidelijke tonen van marsepein, mirabellen, vanille, boter, custard en gedroogd fruit in deze fenomenale Champagne. A bit wider than I expected

I thought this was going to be a "flat" toy but was a bit surprised to see that it was more of a 3D shape than flat. It's unfortunately a bit too wide for my small/medium sized terrier so he really only grabs and chews on the tail and ears. It is pretty durable though and has held up well.
