Het produceert een Merlot-dominante Bordeaux-blend, maar is misschien het best bekend om zijn indrukwekkende 18e-eeuwse kasteel. Op dit verhoogde kalkzandstenen plateau tooit het statige kasteel van Château Laroque van de Familie Beaumartin. Dit is het grootste wijngoed van Saint-Emilion en telt 61 hectare, onderverdeeld in diverse 'climats' (deelgaarden). Het totale wijngaardland van het kasteel beslaat maar liefst 61 hectare (151 acres), waardoor het een van de grootste landgoederen in Saint-Émilion is, maar slechts 27 ha (67 acres) van het landgoed is gereserveerd voor deze grand vin. 

Beschrijving: Rijpe kersen en aardbeien, theebladeren, zoethout, veel gulheid. Sappig bessensmaken, zachte tannine en opwekkende zuurgraad.

Lekker bij: Eend, harde oude kazen, rood vlees.

Leuk weetje: Het overige fruit van het landgoed wordt gebruikt voor de productie van wijn onder het label Château Peymouton. Hier is het klei-kalksteenplateau beplant met 87% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc en 2% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The latch is hard to secure but otherwise a decent purse
It is decently made and a with a luxurious design. It is a stiff purse so it will hold shape. There is enough room for a large phone and a few other items as well. The gold is a dark gold. I got this because I have some sandals in this color that I needed a purse to match. My only issue is that the latch on the string has a hard time inserting into the tube. On the positive side of that, it is extremely secure because of it. However, it is a struggle. I'm not sure if it's just this one purse or this color due to the material interfering or what.
