Het blad en de tafelpoot zijn opgebouwd uit MDF en afgewerkt met papier decor. Dit is een bedrukt papier, geïmpregneerd met hars en onder hoge druk verlijmd op MDF of spaanderplaat, voor een decoratief oppervlak. Dankzij deze afwerking is het meubel onderhoudsvriendelijk en betaalbaar. Wel blijft het, in vergelijking met massief hout, gevoeliger voor vocht en minder kras- en stootvast.

Het tafelblad en de poot in MDF met papierdecor reinig je eenvoudig met een zachte, licht vochtige doek en droog je nadien meteen af. Vermijd overvloedig water en agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen, aangezien het oppervlak gevoelig is voor vocht en minder kras- en stootvast dan massief hout. Gebruik onderleggers en viltjes om krassen, vlekken en stoten te voorkomen en zo de tafel langer mooi te houden.
