The property
Château d'Aiguilhe is today one of the most beautiful vineyards of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux. The vineyard
The vineyards of Château d'Aiguilhe cover nearly 90 hectares in the heart of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The vineyard is exclusively located on clayey-limestone and clayey-silt soil.
Vinification and maturation
Vinification in wooden and concrete vats. Extraction by pneumatic pigeage. Vatting time of 40 days. The wine is aged on fine lees in French oak barrels (30% of which are new).
Blending
Château d'Aiguilhe 2020 is a blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
