Chateau du Breuil VSOP Calvados is een geniale calvados die een fijne rijping van minimum 4 jaar heeft gehad op eiken vaten. Château du Breuil (16e - 17e eeuw) ligt in het hart van de Pays d'Auge. Het beslaat een landgoed van 28 hectare met eigen appelboomgaarden en is 'by far' één van de meest prestigieuze distilleerderijen van de Calvados. Bij Château du Breuil staat de appel duidelijk centraal. De 22.000 appelbomen maken het voor Château du Breuil mogelijk de hoogwaardige cider dubbel te distilleren (verplicht onder de Appellation Pays d'Auge) en Calvados te maken met een optimaal rijpingspotentieel. De rijping op eikenhouten vaten is een essentieel gegeven bij het creëren van verschillende assemblages. Château du Breuil heeft een zeer breed assortiment aan Calvados AOC Pays d’Auge, van klassiek tot innoverend (1e Calvados gericht op vrouwen, Calvados met “Dubbele rijping”, etc...) en exclusieve Calvados. De producten van Château du Breuil worden in de beste restaurants wereldwijd geschonken en behalen regelmatig medailles.
