This is a very thick product, almost Vaseline-like in consistency (it's main ingredient is petrolatum). If you apply it to dry skin, it's going to be very difficult to spread and not do you much good. Apply to damp skin after a bath or shower to facilitate application, hold the moisture from the water in your skin, and give you the best results.

This moisturizing stick is incredible. This is by far the best beauty product I have tried. I had a noticeable difference in my skins appearance in just a couple days.
