De bodem is een kalkrijke zandbodem met sporen van magnesium en mangaan. VINIFICATIE: De druiven van de verschillende wijngaarden worden apart geoogst, vergist op roestvrij stalen vaten en 12 maanden in houten vaten gelagerd. Daarna vindt het blenden plaats, gevolgd door nog eens 18 maanden lagering op grote foeders. DRUIVEN:

ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 14,00%

GEUR & SMAAK: Deze Barolo heeft aroma's van rode bessen, cassis, tabak, mineralen en eiken rooktonen. Daarnaast florale indrukken, drop en iets van specerijen. De smaak is krachtig en tannineus, maar verfijnd met een lange afdronk.

SERVEERSUGGESTIE: Te serveren bij vleesgerechten of bij gerijpte harde kazen.

WEETJE: De naam verwijst naar de familie Gromis, waarvan de familie Gaja de wijngaarden heeft gekocht. De wijn is gemaakt van druiven uit Serralunga en La Morra, en sinds de oogst van 2016 ook uit het subgebied Broglio.

Worked but not well made. If you need 24 hour turnaround only option.
The housing is 95% identical. Float valve seat is smaller than mercury/quicksilver. The carb I received was stuck wide open. Had to completely pull it apart to fix the throttle. Then the choke didn’t work correctly. So I ended up putting this housing on with all my old mercury carb parts inside. All I needed was a new float valve but they are back ordered indefinitely. So this worked because the housing is correct but that’s about it. Internals were plastic. Not metal. Jury is still out on the jet size. I’ll update if it floods the motor at speed. Seems to be running very rich. If you’re looking for easy, I’d buy the quicksilver that’s tuned for the motor already. The carb I received idled too fast and even if the throttle wasn’t stuck open it wouldn’t have run well with a racing choke (screams air leak because of poor quality)
