Rhododendron Moser’s Maroon

De Rhododendron hybride 'Moser’s Maroon' behoort tot de groenblijvende heesters. De bladhoudende haagplant verliest dus nooit zijn blad en blijft elk seizoen vol en groen. Deze plantensoort is erg mooi om als haag, solitair of in een groep te planten. Maroon betekent kastanjebruin en verwijst naar de prachtige bronzen kleur van het jonge blad van de plantensoort.

Groenblijvende heesters met rode bloemen

Tijd voor meer kleur in jouw tuin? Bij Garmundo verkopen we verschillende groenblijvende heesters met gekleurde bloemen, waaronder ook deze rhododendron Moser’s Maroon. De schitterende grote donkerrode tot donkerpaarse bloemen verschijnen in mei en juni tussen de groene en bronskleurige bladeren. Tip: combineer met rhododendron struiken met anders gekleurde bloemen, zoals de rhododendron Roseum Elegans met roze bloemen of de rhododendron Flava met wit/gele bloemen.

De rhododendron Moser’s Maroon is winterhard tot ongeveer -22°C en groeit zo’n 20 cm. per jaar. De heester plant je het beste in de zon of schaduw en in een zure, humusrijke bodem. Niet te nat, maar ook niet te droog. Snoeien is nauwelijks nodig, hooguit eens per jaar.

It does not irritate our skin at all and provides great coverage. This stuff works very well for us on vacation in Florida and on Bahamas/Caribbean cruises. It fits easily in a small bag and doesn't take up much room. With it being a solid, there's no worry of leaking. I love that you can hand everyone a stick and they can do most of the application themselves. Then we turn around and get the hard to reach spots on each other. And all done with clean hands that aren't getting messy. I would be so sad if this sunscreen is ever discontinued. We have over a dozen sticks in our house/car/luggage at any given time.

I did a light study on these products and this one is recommended by dermatologist with lots of good reason. There’s one dermatologist on you tube that does the most extensive and short, to the point at the same time, explanation of the different products on the market and what you want in a sunscreen. It’s worth looking it up if you used a lot of this product. She wasn’t selling anything but suggested this as one that’s the safest to use you should look that one up if it’s a concern. My pasty white skin likes to burn lol. It stays on with water reasonably well. I like the small package. It lasts pretty good too. I try to travel light and things like this really help.
