Hier is het klimaat perfect voor de Nero d'Avola druif, veel zonneschijn maar vooral veel koelte van de wind en natuurlijk van de nacht. Want het verschil tussen de dag en nacht temperatuur is groot. Het grote verschil zorgt dat de druiven evenwichtig en rustig kunnen rijpen. Dat is ook nodig want anders rijpen de Nero d'Avola te snel en kunnen ze geen kracht opbouwen.De volle oogst van de Nero d'Avola
Familie Tasca haalt in de oude wijngaard een zeer lage opbrengst binnen, dat komt omdat de wijnmaker veel trossen wegknipt. Zo kunnen de trossen die blijven hangen heel veel kracht opbouwen. Bij de ideale rijpheid worden de Nero d'Avola druiven met de hand geoogst en zeer streng geselecteerd. Bij aankomst worden de druiven geperst en vervolgens 10 tot 12 maanden gerijpt op eiken houten vaten in de kelders van Tasca. In deze periode bouwt de wijn kracht en souplesse op wat hem bijzonder maakt.Hoe smaakt de Tasca Lamur Nero d'Avola
In de geur is veel warmte te ontdekken, mooie aroma's van zoete kersen en een beetje confiture. Maar ook een kruidige tint van eucalyptus, kirsch en peper. De zwoelheid behoud hij ook in de smaak, want deze Lamuri Nero d'Avola Tasca Sicilia heeft indrukken van bessen en kersen met wat zoete pruimen en een klein aroma van teer, drop en kaneel. Really wonderful book. It starts heavy, and slowly lightens up. Some reviews have talked about the FMC not reacting to trauma in a believable way, but her boundless optimism was what she turns to. There is no one, correct way of dealing with trauma, so it didn't come off as flippant. It's a slow burn, with spice coming in the 2nd half of the book. A good read.

cute, wish there was more character growth but definitely sweet

Serenity was abused by her parents when she presented as an omega and sold off to someone who starved, assaulted and made her do questionable things while he waited for her heat to come. In a desperate attempt at getting free she was able to run away and was hit with a pack who ended up being a scent match.
While this story was sweet I wanted to see some development of Serenity and Remy’s characters. Serenity was abused and forced to do things from an alpha’s bark, I wanted to see her growth from that but it was basically night and day. Same with Remy, he just miraculously had an aha moment and that was it.
Overall a sweet story.

Start to finish, I was hooked. The imagery, the emotion, the drama, and the real world application all linked perfectly together with the healing power of love, and compassion. Knotty Omegas series is a work of art!!

A.J. Shirley has done it again. I was hesitant to read this book because of the premise of omegaverse, but I loved Shirley's Aegis Saga so much that I decided to give this a try. I finished it faster than any other book I've ever read. I fell in love with Serenity, her sharp wit, her creativity, and her ability to hope and love despite her horrible past. I loved witnessing her healing journey. Her chemistry and connection with the pack made my heart race. The men were incredibly lovable and snuggly. And the spice was SPICY. Buckle up.
