The 428 HD is a consistent further development of the proven 428H. Instead of the classic winding technique used in roller production, DID relies on a modern production process from solid round material. This avoids weak points caused by seams and leads to a significantly more robust and durable chain.
Compared to the standard DID 428D chain, the 428 HD offers a reinforced design with thicker inner and outer plates, which results in a noticeably higher tensile strength. Thanks to its low weight, it is perfectly suited for motorcycles with an engine size of up to 125 ccm.
