Achtergrondinformatie: Groter dan het leven. Dat is waarschijnlijk de beste manier om Huba Szeremley te beschrijven. Hij vluchtte met zijn vrouw en kind naar Oostenrijk toen hij vanwege zijn sterke politieke mening niet meer veilig was. Daarna deed hij goede zaken in Iran en Nigeria in de bouwsector. Nadat de politieke omstandigheden in 1990 weer stabiel waren ging hij met zijn gezin terug naar Hongarije. Al die jaren in het buitenland heeft hij flink last gehad van heimwee. Met zijn verdiende geld kocht hij een flink stuk land op om zijn woning heen. Met als bedoeling zijn privacy zeker te stellen. En zoals hij zelf zegt kwam zo, zoals zoveel dingen in zijn leven, wijnmaken toevallig op zijn pad. Hij vond het zonde om met de wijngaarden op zijn land niets te doen en bleek een natuurtalent. Op dit moment is hij de grootste producent in zijn geboortestreek. Hij maakt wijnen met een grote diepgang en karakter, maar waag het niet om het te hebben over amandel of chocolade. Dat vindt hij de grootste onzin die er is. Goede wijn is goede wijn en geen chocolade of koeienmest.

Classy, Comfortable, and Built to Last!
I’ve never tried a wooden wrist rest before, but after going through a few padded ones (even some expensive name-brand versions) that eventually peeled or fell apart, I figured this was worth a shot. And I’m so glad I did! This walnut wrist rest is smooth, beautifully made, and looks amazing on my desk. I have a whitewashed office setup, but this piece looks so good that I half-joked about wanting to change my desk to match it! It adds a very clean, grown-up aesthetic to the space. One thing I really appreciated is that it comes in several sizes to suit different setups. I ordered the largest available, and while it’s just a couple inches shy of covering the full length of my keyboard, it still works perfectly. It has non-slip grips on the bottom that keep it in place, and even though it’s made of solid wood, it’s surprisingly comfortable and ergonomic to type with. It’s also super low-maintenance—just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. For the $26–$29 price range, I think it’s a fantastic value and honestly better than some of the big-name options I’ve tried. This is a quality piece I expect to hold up for a long time, and I’m really happy with it!!

Check the height of your keyboard before ordering
This is a beautifully made, elegant looking wrist rest. The finish is satin perfectly smooth to the touch. As keyboards vary in height, be sure to measure he height of the front edge of yours before ordering—I didn’t (which is entirely my fault) and found that this wrist rest is just a wee bit too tall, which positioned my wrists a tad higher than I’m used to. Another factor you may want to consider are the ergonomics of solid wood versus other materials and your personal preferences (e.g., I tend to prefer cloth covered gel, because he cloth keeps my wrists from sticking and the gel is cushioning). My closing thought: this wrist rest is that it is by far the best looking of any wrist rest I’ve ever seen.
