Castello di Brolio is gemaakt van een nauwgezette selectie van de beste Sangiovese- en Abrusco-druiven uit de wijngaarden van het landgoed, verdeeld over 240 hectare land. De productie van elke vintage kan dus variëren in kwantiteit, maar de kwaliteit is altijd uitstekend. De wijngaarden liggen op 400 tot 500 meter boven zeeniveau, op het zuiden / zuidwesten. De perfecte belichting en uitstekende hoogte van het land, evenals de zeer steenachtige grond, zijn verantwoordelijk voor het typische karakter van deze wijn. De geselecteerde druiven worden zorgvuldig gescheiden, gepureerd en gefermenteerd. Door hun topkwaliteit hebben ze een heel bijzonder aroma. Voor de wijn mogen alleen druiven van de beste jaargangen worden gebruikt. Ze geven de wijn een onvergetelijke smaak. Deze wijn is een echt icoon. De wijn dankt zijn bijzondere persoonlijkheid aan de toenemende concentratie en structuur van de tannines. De druiven worden pas laat geoogst, zo rond het einde van september, begin oktober. Dan zijn de druiven perfect rijp. De gisting die daarop volgt duurt bijna drie weken, om zo alle geur en smaakstoffen aan de schillen te onttrekken. Daarna volgt een rijping op eiken vaten gedurende anderhalf jaar.De geur en smaak van Barone Ricasoli Castello di Brolio
De geur is intens van deze rode wijn, mooie tonen van zwart fruit en ceder hout, licht gebrand, kersen en frambozen samen met wat zwoele kruidigheid. Hij is minimaal 10 jaar op te leggen maar nu al op dronk vinden wij, laat wel deze Castello di Brolio Barone Ricasoli circa 2 uur van tevoren luchten om alle mooie smaken los te krijgen. De smaak is intens krachtig, veel zwart fruit, kruiden, vanille, tabak, chocolade en nog heel veel meer! Echt een wijn om nooit meer te vergeten! Dat beloven wij!Shipping Notes

Classic Kids Book
Format: Board book
The Rainbow Fish is one of those children’s books that has been around forever for a reason. The story is sweet and the illustrations are beautiful. It is a great book to read with kids and one that seems to stick around in family libraries for years.

Great illustrations but not sure about the story
Format: Board book
My toddler is obsessed with all things fish, so when she picked out The Rainbow Fish from Amazon search. The illustrations are gorgeous, and my daughter is mesmerized by the sparkly, foil-like scales on the fish. She keeps pointing at them every time we read it, and it’s become a bedtime favorite just for the shiny colors!
One thing I found a little odd is the story: the Rainbow Fish gives away all her beautiful scales to make friends. It’s a sweet message about sharing, but as a parent I admit it made me scratch my head a bit (I wasn’t sure if my toddler really gets why the fish parts with all her sparkles). Still, it’s a friendly tale and we enjoy reading it together.

The Good Democracy is at Risk

This is as close to a page-turner as a prosecutor's brief can get. No words are wasted as the author describes how Donald Trump and his minions have used their raw power to lay waste to the "good" that is the beating heart of American democracy, putting democracy itself at risk. Only the people can fix it.

Sweet Book for Caterpillar-Loving Kids and Dads
