The Ibanez AF95 Artcore Expressionist features a spruce top with linden back and sides. Its three-piece nyatoh/maple neck profile is comfortable and even further enhanced by a sleek gloss finish. Atop the neck sits a bound Macassar ebony fingerboard that is home to 20 frets. This ebony has a quick response and incredible sustain, is a pleasure to play, and is decorated with acrylic block inlays.
Two Super 58 humbucking pickups provide the AF95's tonal prowess. Well balanced and wildly articulate, these full-bodied humbuckers are capable of accomplishing plenty of musical styles. Even with the mildest amount of attack, their output rings true, and if you're the type of player that likes to dig in, their response will translate your aggressiveness straight through your amplifier to listener's ears. With a volume and tone control for each pickup and a 3-way pickup selector, there's plenty of versatility to get nearly any gig done.
