Copiapoa haseltoniana is Endemic to the Atacama desert (Chile, Antofagasta) on a few hundred metres wide coastal plain at 15 km NE, inlands above Paposo (from Taltal to Caleta Colorado), which lies between the sea and the steeply rising coastal mountain.

Description: Usually forms massive clumps, up to 1.5 m tall.
Stems: Light green or reddish tinged with an amber yellow woolly crown, up to 25 cm in diameter, round branching laterally with 14 to 22 ribs. The individual stems are generally oriented northwards.
Spines: Golden up to 3 cm long; 0 to 2 central spines; 0 to 8 radial spines.

Cultivation and Propagation: Considering that Copiapoa haseltoniana comes from a habitat with an extremely arid climate, they are remarkably tolerant of pot culture, but susceptible to overwatering. They requires also an appropriate air circulation. Copiapoas are summer grower species easy to cultivate.
Growth rate: This is a slow growing cactus kept for the beauty of its form that will make clumps given the best conditions.
Soils: It likes very coarse mineral cactus mix soil, but can become too elongated if compost is too rich.
Repotting: Use pot with good drainage.
Watering: It requires light but regular waterings in summer, but let the soil mix dry between waterings, but do not overwater (Rot prone), it must be strictly kept dry throughout the winter quiescent period since it is very sensitive to any moisture excesses keep dry in winter.
Fertilization: Feed with a high potassium fertilizer in summer.
Hardiness: Not highly tolerant of a great deal of frost. They need to be kept in a cool place during winter rest and are resistant to light frost if kept on the dry side prior to, and during, cold weather ( they are hardy to -2 C ° C short periods). However some warmth throughout the year will increase the grower's success (minimum 5° to 10°C during rest season).
Exposition: Requires full sun or light shade and careful watering to keep plant compact with strong coloured spines. Tends to bronze in strong light, which encourages flowering and heavy spine production. Light shadow my be useful in the hottest summer days.

A Game-Changer for Comfort
Size: Medium, Color: Black, Number of Items: 6
I recently upgraded my workout gear with the Under Armour Training Cotton Quarter Socks, and I must say, these socks have revolutionized my exercise experience. Comfortable, durable, and stylish, they truly stand out in the crowded world of athletic socks. First and foremost, the comfort level of these socks is unparalleled. The blend of cotton and synthetic materials provides a soft and plush feel against my feet, making every step a pleasure. The quarter length strikes the perfect balance, offering ample coverage without being too restrictive or too short. It's like walking on clouds, even during the most intense workouts. One of the standout features is the moisture-wicking technology. I've worn these socks during high-intensity cardio sessions, and they have consistently kept my feet dry and comfortable. The breathability is remarkable, preventing that uncomfortable feeling of sweaty feet that often accompanies strenuous workouts. No more distractions – just focus on pushing through your fitness routine. Durability is another strong suit of these socks. After numerous washes, they maintain their shape and elasticity, showing no signs of wear and tear. The reinforced heel and toe areas provide extra support, ensuring longevity and preventing the dreaded sock holes that often plague other brands. The sleek design of the Under Armour Training Cotton Quarter Socks adds a touch of style to my workout attire. The subtle logo and choice of colors make them versatile enough to pair with any athletic shoes. Whether you're hitting the gym, going for a run, or simply running errands, these socks seamlessly blend fashion with function. In terms of sizing, I found that they fit true to size. The elastic band around the arch provides a snug yet comfortable fit, ensuring that the socks stay in place throughout any activity. While the price point may be slightly higher than some other options on the market, the quality and performance of the Under Armour Training Cotton Quarter Socks more than justify the investment. When it comes to comfort, durability, and style, these socks have become an indispensable part of my workout wardrobe.

Socks work really good. I have very rough and dry feet that tear up my bed sheets. They hold up to my destructive feet. They are soft and comfy!

LOVE THEM!!
Size: Small, Color: (001) Black / Black / Castlerock
LOVE! These socks are so comfortable! I wear a 5 in women's and a 3 in big kid shoes. The small fit me perfectly. I see where some say they run small but I can't say that was an issue for me. They are "snug" but thats what you want with a no show sock. I feel they have support vs the ones i used to buy at Walmart. They are very soft! I am actually buying more today and throwing my other ones in the trash!
