Featuring an HDMI output, AXIS FA51 allows you to connect external devices such as a PVM (Public Viewing Monitor). It includes AXIS Face Detector offering a proactive way to reduce shoplifting. When connected to a PVM this cost-effective main unit will highlight faces within bounding boxes and let would-be thieves believe they’re being monitored. When installed at store entrances it also helps you to optimize the security resources in-store. Furthermore, it offers support for audio and one configurable input/output port so you can connect external devices for instance to activate lights and trigger audio messages.

Compatible with all AXIS FA sensor units, AXIS FA51 supports one HDTV 1080p video stream at full frame rate to deliver excellent video quality. Thanks to Forensic WDR it provides clarity when there’s both dark and light areas in the scene. The main unit can connect directly to the PVM, offering lower latency and reducing the risk of network issues. Plus, as long as there’s power, it will continue to display images even when the network is down. Furthermore, Axis Zipstream significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements.
