Bix Beiderbecke (1903-1931), though famous as a jazz cornetist, was also an exceptional pianist and composer. Friends and colleagues have recalled that Beiderbecke remained partial to the piano throughout his life. He reportedly played the instrument often -- both offstage and on. Sadly, precious few recordings survive to document Beiderbecke at the piano. He contributed a brief piano solo on the Wolverines' record of "Big Boy" in 1924 and later served as piano accompanist for two records spotlighting Eddie Lang and Frank Trumbauer. He made only one solo piano record: his own "In a Mist" for the OKeh label in late 1927. His lively, rhythmic, and completely entrancing performance has since become one of the most celebrated jazz piano recordings of the 1920s. Towards the end of his life, Beiderbecke published three additional piano solos: "Candlelights," "Flashes," and "In the Dark," but he never had a chance to record them. Collectively, the four pieces reveal Beiderbecke's keen interest in the harmonies of such Impressionist composers as Ravel and Debussy infused with syncopated jazz rhythms.

Beiderbecke's four piano solos have rarely been recorded as a complete set. Eighty years after their composition, this set marks the first time all four solos have been collected as a 78 rpm record set. Beautifully recorded on a Steinway Model C grand piano on a crisp fall evening in 2009, Bryan Wright's performances remain faithful to the published scores prepared by Bill Challis while conveying the wistful lyricism of Beiderbecke's haunting melodies as few other recordings have. In recent years, Wright has been a featured pianist at the JVC Jazz Festival in New York City and other jazz and ragtime festivals across the United States, including regular appearances at the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival.

Limited edition pressing of 500 copies.

Note: These are stereo, microgroove, 10-inch vinyl records meant to be played at 78 RPM. They are compatible with all modern turntables (post-1950s) fitted with a stereo cartridge and capable of spinning at 78 RPM. For best results, we strongly recommend a cartridge capable of tracking at 3-4 grams. Rugged cartridges designed for DJ use (like the Stanton 500, Shure M44-7, or Ortofon VNL) work better than delicate, high-end "audiophile" cartridges. Use an ordinary LP stylus; no special stylus is required. These records should NOT be played on vintage "wind-up" machines with steel needles.

Gentle serum with nice ingredients
This serum is a milky white color that is a mediun texture (not watery, and not super thick) and spreads well and easily. It absorbs pretty quickly, and doesn't leave me too sticky after, nor has it caused any irritation in over a week of daily use. I also haven't noticed any difference yet in terms of brightening or wrinkle reduction, but 1) know that this can take up to 12 weeks with astaxanthin, and 2) already use niacinamide and vitamin c and have probably already seen as much progress as I can expect in the way of evening out skintone and reducing the appearance of freckles. In English, it says there are only 6 ingredients, but given the avaialable concentrations on the box (4.3% niacinamide, 0.01% astaxanthin) that doesn't make sense. The full ingredients list is only in Korean, but after using an online image translator can see that both lists include great ingredients that have all proven to be quite effective and are gentle for sensitive skin. I also really appreciate that it has the percent niacinamide on the box because this is a staple ingredient for me and so many products have it that it's nice to be able to know how much I'm using when I combine differemt serums and moisturizers that include it so that I'm in the zone that's best for my skin and not using too much.

lightweight, did not irritate my skin
I have been using this ampoule for about 3 weeks now and I like how it makes my skin feel. It doesn't feel harsh, my skin didn't seem to mind it because it didn't look or feel irritated after the 3 weeks of use. I am not solely using this product as my night time moisturizer but it is an addition to my other moisturizer. It is easy to apply, doesn't feel heavy, sticky, or tacky. I can't say how this works for existing blemishes and imperfections because I am mainly using this as a prevention. I recently had some of my sun spots laser-ed so I am trying to keep any additional sun spots from appearing again, which is why it is so important for me to keep up with the prevention routine. This product is excellent for that. I did take a look at the ingredients list and while I'm fine with most of it, I did notice there is a silicone in this. I try to avoid silicones but I'm not going to say it is a dealbreaker. All in all I like this product and will keep using this until I'm done with the entire bottle. I didn't see the ingredients list posted on this page yet so here it is, in case you need to see what's in this serum before making the decision to purchase. Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polyglyceryl-6 Dicaprate, Arginine, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Astaxanthin(100000ppb), Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Betaine, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric)Root Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Tocopherol, Thioctic Acid, Thermus Thermophillus Ferment, Glycerin, Potassium Sorbate

So far, loving this! I have super sensitive skin and it's causing no issues!
This serum is really nice and easy to apply! It’s on the thin side, so I like to tilt my head upwards and gently release a drop or 2 at a time onto my face. Rub it in from there. If you drop this into your hand to apply first, you’ll be wasting a lot of product, so don’t go that route. I do have some sun spots I’m looking to tackle, so hopefully this will help with those! I also live in a city with high levels of pollution, so I can use all the antioxidants I can get! I'm excited to see if this helps with some sun damage and spots that I've accumulated over the years.

Absorbs quickly
I like this ampoule. It has a nice gel-like viscosity and absorbs quickly into my skin and has not caused any irritation. I like that it has no smell. Since I have been using it, I have noticed a general lightening of the dark spots on my cheeks. I have noticed that my skin tone looks brighter since I have started using this. I will continue to use this ampoule in hopes of seeing even more improvement. Overall, I am very happy with this ampoule and think it does a good job of evening out my skin tone and lightening dark spots I have on my face making my skin look brighter, in general.
