It stands up straight on it’s own and I only need to place it on the radiator and do not need to tie/drill it to something else to keep it standing up. I have a guest bath that I have remodeled, and I wanted something understated and still elegant enough to go with my very pretty bathroom. I opted to not have a medicine cabinet put in when the house was built and have only used the under-sink cabinet for my needs. I did purchase 2 of these units and so far, have only received the "all" black. The other is black metal with white shelves. I am not sure which one I will be putting in the bathroom as yet until I see the white one that should be here any day now. Looking forward to it. It's exactly the right size, metal is very light but nice, the wood shelves are nice but there are no pre-drilled holes so you will have to figure that out and looks very easy to hang with the 4 holes in the metal parts. I believe it's a great buy for us! I will be using it for face cloths, extra hand towels, a candle or 2, a small tray for jewelry, and a picture and plant. Good to go!!
