They're prepared by hand using premium natural materials and formulas based on historic recipes and techniques. Handcrafted from the finest materials, Lavender Damar Varnish can be used as a final, protective varnish or with mediums to thin paint and decrease drying time.
This varnish is made with Lavender Spike Oil Essence, which is a historically documented solvent used since the Renaissance. It is non-carcinogenic and has a strong herbaceous scent. Use in a well-ventilated area, and it may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to strong scents. Our Painting Varnishes come in glass bottles.
