- HISTORIC PROVENANCE
- This piece is inspired by the ingenuity of an 18th-century German-made tilt-top table at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Originally designed with rotating and tilting capabilities, the Museum’s table allowed a host to serve tea in privacy, without the presence of servants. Eichholtz reinterprets the table’s form with modern restraint while honoring its innovation.
