Momentum’s unique filter-to-housing interface was built to feature the largest air filter possible. This 9” tall, pre-oiled 360-degree radial flow air filter features a 5-1/2” flange and our pre-oiled Pro 10R media with ten layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance and filtration. Its inverted top and large surface area provide much longer life between maintenance intervals, while reinforced metal provides maximum strength to prevent filter collapse. This media is best suited for off-road applications. Momentum’s innovative filter-to-housing interface was built to feature the largest air filter possible. Once the system is installed, the air filter can be easily removed from the housing for maintenance by only uninstalling the intake tube. The smooth one-piece sealed housing, constructed of heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), features our patented (US PAT 9440175) filter-to-housing interface. Its innovative design minimizes the total number of parts, making for an easy installation. A large, clear sight window allows for hassle-free filter inspection, without having to disassemble your system. The housing incorporates factory air scoop inlets, using no additional hardware, and features an optional auxiliary air inlet that pulls in additional air. This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. Stainless-steel T-bolt clamps and a silicone reinforced coupling are used for strength and durability. Quality oil

I use nothing but Castrol GTX high mileage 20w50 oil and Wix oil filters in my 2000 Nissan Frontier with 317,000 highway miles on the engine. I change the oil every 3,000 miles and engine is still going strong!

Amazon has become my go-to motor oil merchant

I could not be happier with this oil.
I have been using Castrol GTX regular and High Mileage oils in several cars for 8+ years so you can imagine that I am satisfied with the brand.
As for Castrol's GTX High Mileage 20W-50, I have been using it for a while, first purchasing it at parts stores, but this oil was phased out of many stores in my area. I bought most of the stock I could find in the local stores and then pondered the question of what to do when I use it all up. I searched for this oil on Amazon, merely on a whim, and I was ecstatic to find that they sold it for a price much lower than what I was paying in the auto stores. An oil change on my car takes about four quarts, so I first purchased two of these five quart containers. After using them up and a having a great experience purchasing them on Amazon, I went ahead and purchased four more containers to stock up.
I do much of my own vehicle maintenance and working on cars a hobby of mine, so oil changes are something that I always do on my own. I use this Castrol in a 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon with 250,000 miles which is a daily driver and I will not use anything else for oil at this point. A specialist for these cars recommended that I try a 20W-50 oil in the B230F in my Volvo. I have been able to keep my engine running very smoothly for its age and mileage through regular oil changes and the use of this quality oil. I am confident that recurrent use of this oil will help me push the Volvo many more miles before needing to do an overhaul (the engine is yet to be overhauled, but that should be no big surprise for anyone who has experience with a B2XX engine Volvo).

Cannot purchase this locally any longer

I cannot purchase this viscosity locally any longer. I was very glad to see it offered here. I use this thicker oil in my 2.2 liter Chevrolet engine that has over 200k miles. It works great.

Great oil but...

Great oil. My only gripe is that I need 5.5QT's and single quarts are not available in this weight. Even if it was it looks like a single qt would cost about as much as 5qt's.
